Ghana Interschool Festival Partners with Carmensita to Launch Cooking Challenge

The Ghana Interschool Festival (GIF) is set to introduce a thrilling new addition to its 2025 edition,  the Carmensita Cooking Challenge, launched in partnership with Carmensita Ghana.

This exciting new segment aims to nurture creativity, teamwork, and practical life skills among students through the art of cooking. The Carmensita Cooking Challenge provides a unique platform for young aspiring chefs to showcase their culinary talent, innovation, and understanding of nutrition, all while celebrating both Ghanaian and international cuisines.

Taking place on 15th November 2025 at the University of Ghana Stadium, the competition will feature 9 participating schools, including:

  • Accra Community School
  • DPS International Ghana
  • Kay-Billie Klaer International School
  • Association International School
  • North Legon Little Campus
  • Temple Christian International School
  • Soul Clinic International School
  • Beacon International School
  • Shield International School

Each participating team will demonstrate their ability to create wholesome, creative, and beautifully presented meals within a set time frame, fostering an atmosphere of learning, teamwork, and healthy competition.

Promoting Creativity and Life Skills

The Carmensita Cooking Challenge reflects the shared vision of Ghana Interschool Festival and Carmensita Ghana to go beyond academic excellence by developing well-rounded students who are confident, disciplined, and skilled in diverse areas of life.
